On another sheet of paper, outline in points where you want to be in 5 years. I have seen many creative and different ways of doing this. I have seen people who cut out an image of their dream house and paste it close to the written goal.

Whatever works to help you believe and do what is needed, use it. Nothing is out of this world. If you can conceive it and believe it, you can achieve it.

4) List Down The Steps.

Take each goal and break it down into what you need to do to achieve it. What actual steps do you need to follow to achieve a great business, for instance? List them.

After you break it down, it starts to look easier. Not easy enough yet? Break it down further into bite sizes – what you know you can do in step by step fashion to get there.

5) Attach a Timeline to Each Goal.

It doesn’t have to be a specific date. A month is good enough. Done? Paste it on your fridge, on your office board or wherever you see it all the time. And then commit to it. Focus and patience are the driving factors to goal achievement.

You may not achieve each goal in the time that you have set against it, but that doesn’t mean that you have failed. Maybe a little re-organization of the goal is all you need. Remember that entrepreneurship is a mindset. Some people are born with it as a gift, but you can develop it and get it to work for you.

Have you ever thought about how making money online is very similar to the challanges we face in life? I have given it a lot of thought as I have built my online business over the last few years.

As the cliche' goes, Life si not easy. Well neither is making money blogging.

However, as we have learned, it can be made easier with knowledge and hard work.

The circle of life can be broken down into a phases.

1. We are born. (we are learning the very basics of life)

2. We go to school to learn. (we continue learning the basics)

3. We go to college or we get a job (we are learning life lessons )

4. We get married (we definitely are learning ALL OVER AGAIN)

5. We have kids (we are still learning)

6. We grow old ( Our learning slows down but we are now teaching)

See a pattern here? Pretty simple stuff if it was not so danged hard.

In the first 2-3 steps, we are learning the very basics of life. In the next 2 steps things get more complicated but it is where we really begin to build the foundation for the rest of our lives. Some might say that going to college fits into the foundation catagory and I am sure for some that is true. For others, if they are like me, they went to college and had fun. It's not our parents world anymore. We don't work at the same place our whole lives. We move around and try to move ahead. We are able to do this because we are constantly educating ourselves and preparing for the next level of success or failure. However, we must remember that once we learn from failing we will be successful by not repeating the same mistakes.

Let's look at how the circle of life compares to the circle of making money blogging.

1. Our idea is born (we have a lot to learn just like a child)

2. We go to school by buying products from those before us( we are learning as we go)

3. We go to work by creating our first money blog( we continually learn,weak and try different things just like college or our first jobs)

4. Our marriage like event is that we are not making money so we have to change,grow and continue to learn(kind of like a real marriage)

5. We have more kids (create more blogs in our chosen niche markets and we are still learning how to raise them)

6. This step is different but similar to the one above. We don't grow old but we circle back to number 1 with our new idea, we are learning by either buying or trying as I call it, and we continue to market with articles and keyword research.

As you see, making money blogging is a lot like life. You have to get educated along the way and the education never ends. The bumps and bruises are the same. We have to just pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off a little and keep plowing ahead!

1. Appreciate what you have. This one is an excellent place to start. An old "carny" once said, "Them that has, gets." It's probably the shortest way you could ever state the Law of Attraction!

And yet, it is entirely true. After all, we get more of what we focus on in life. Focus on what you already have that you love, and you're bound to get more of it. Focus on what you don't like about your life, and you'll just get more of that!

You don't even have to believe in the Law of Attraction--that you will attract to yourself, magnet-like, what you focus on with emotion--to see how this will work. Self-fulfilling prophecies tend to work regardless of the physics (or metaphysics) involved.

And that is the first and most basic of all wealth secrets--just appreciate what you have. A grateful attitude will make you happier with your own life while bringing you even more joy. If you don't feel like you have much to be thankful for, just focus on the little bit that you do love. Then you will be able to watch your wealth and happiness grow.

2. Show your appreciation to others. This wealth secret is great not just for your own life but for your relationships as well. Think of five people whom you are grateful for, or who have at least provided things in your life that you are grateful for.

Write down their names and what they have done for you. Now, find them and let them know how much you appreciate them!

Sure, people are more likely to be more giving towards you in the future if they receive extra appreciation from you. But that's not really the point of this exercise.

The point of this is to increase your relationships, and boost the well-being of your own environment by boosting the mindset of the people in your life.

We are largely influenced by the five people closest to us in our lives. In some ways, we are very much a composite of the five closest persons in our lives. When we make those people feel good about themselves, we set up a feedback loop that over time will lift the spirits and stature of everybody involved.

Keep in mind that wealth secrets aren't just about money (although this wealth secret can help increase your income as well). Wealth is a total package that includes money, free time, and good relationships.

It also includes physical, mental, and emotional well-being--ours as well as that of everyone in our lives. Utilize this second wealth secret to lift yourself up by lifting up the people in your life. Then, use it on five more people!

Change Your Beliefs for Success!

Often, what we want to believe, and what we really believe are two different things... and which one do you think will win out? That's right- what we deep down, really believe, those beliefs that are lodged in our subconscious mind.

What are the beliefs that keep surfacing, that you are trying to change? "Positive thinking" and affirmations are great, but too often, they only penetrate the surface.

What did you learn about money when you were growing up? That it's hard to come by? That you need to work long and hard for it? Or maybe, that it's the root of all evil? That rich people are selfish snobs? Even though you may really need and want money, what are your feelings when you see people that have it? Does it seem totally outside your reality?

You can go through life, consciously trying to change, trying to stay on top of every thought, action and word.... exhausting and self defeating, isn't it?

So, how do you know what subconscious beliefs might be holding you back?

One simple way to find out is to start writing statements like these:

"I deserve success and happiness."
"Success comes easily."
"I find it easy to make money."
"I encounter opportunities wherever I go."
"I am know what I want in life."
"I am ready to face any challenges."
"I believe in my ability to create success."

Take a look at what you wrote, and as you read each statement out loud, pay attention to how you feel inside.

If any statement conflicts with one of your external beliefs, you will feel a twinge of guilt or fear, a feeling as if you were lying to yourself. The feeling may be subtle, but if you pay close enough attention, you will sense it.

Circle any statement that doesn't resonate with you. Those are the beliefs you need to work on if you want to make any progress. You can not change anything, unless you know what it is, and acknowledge it.

And how do you change existing beliefs? You let them go, and replace them with more empowering beliefs.

This is why this exercise is so helpful. It will help you bring your old subconscious beliefs into awareness. Now it's time to acknowledge them, let them go, and replace them with more positive and forward moving beliefs.

Did you know, that students who score well on tests are the ones who are most relaxed? That geniuses put very little effort into thought, that ideas just seem to come to them? High performance athletes don't think they do. Of course, they have studied, and trained, but when the time comes, they perform on a level above thought. So the point is.... relax, stop thinking, stop trying, and study, train, and DO!

How many times have you heard someone say I want to be rich ? Unfortunately 99 of people who I hear talking about how they want to be rich will NEVER achieve their goal. Why?

When most people say I want to be rich they don t actually believe that they can ever achieve this goal. Let’s face it, if they don t believe in themselves then what hope do they have of ever achieving anything.

Another reason why I want to be rich prayers are rarely answered is because most people don t actually know what being rich is? This may sound like a weird concept but have you ever taken the time to clearly define what being rich is? Well if you are serious about becoming rich then it is time that you sat down and figured out what being rich actually means to you.

All of these answers are very typical for someone who has just proclaimed I want to be rich but how come most people never get close to achieving any of these goals?

The reason most people never actually become rich is the exact same reason why most people never achieve any of their big goals. First of all they don’t ever define what their goals actually are and second of all they don’t believe that they canachieve them. One of my all time favorite quotes sums this up perfectly

Most people overestimate how much money you need to retire from your job You don t actually need 10 million dollars to live your dreams, unless of course your dreams include a private Learjet. Step Two: Think about how much money/equity you would need to live these dreams

Step Three: Decide what is the best way to achieve this equity Business, Shares, Property?

You may be following all of the debate that has been raging in the news lately regarding health care reform, the economy, unemployment and taxes. Everyone, it seems, is either advocating for or against taxes to pay for government reforms and large government programs. But Americans are struggling financially thanks to the economy and over taxation. Americans simply have no more money to give the government. This lemon has been squeezed thoroughly dry.

Let me give you some statistics on wealth in America: 1. 304 million people currently reside in America. 2. 150 million make enough money to warrant filing an income tax return. 3. 7.5 million, or 5 percent, make $150,000 or more a year.

This 5 percent puts money away for retirement, education for their children, savings, go on expensive vacations, live in the best homes and retire without any financial worries.

Now, in certain parts of the country, $150,000 does not seem like a lot of money. But in other parts of the country, $150,000 might as well be $1 million. Ninety-five percent of Americans are struggling financially. They are just getting by. They are hanging by a thread.

Five years ago, just such an individual came into my office. He was a small business owner who was struggling financially. Unable to make payroll, his credit lines stretched as far as the banks allowed, he was downcast and without hope. He sat down and with a pleading look on his face he asked this CPA a very simple question. "What am I doing wrong?"

This simple question took me down a path of discovery I never imagined I would travel. i spent the next five years absorbed in research trying to find the answer to that simple question. Eventually, I came up with my own questions that I asked over 400 individuals. I broke this group up into Rich and Poor. I analyzed their responses and was shocked. A pattern had emerged. Both groups had vastly different responses to my questions.

Let me give you an example. When I asked the question: "What do you do at the end of your work day, when you leave your place of business?" The Rich group responded as follows: 1. I go to school at night seeking an advanced degree to further my career. 2. I am on certain boards at certain companies. 3. I teach, lecture, speak, write articles or books. 4. I coach my child's sports team. 5. I volunteer at my church, or at a non-profit organization or for some civic group.

When I asked this same question to the Poor group their responses were fairly the same: I come home from work, eat dinner, watch some T.V. maybe read a book, go to bed and begin the same process over again the very next day.

Folks, that's a difference the size of the Grand Canyon. This pattern repeated itself over every question. I now believe I have answered my client's question: "What am I doing wrong?" What i uncovered, what I stumbled upon, is nothing short of the secret to financial success. And now I will share with you some of the discoveries I have made in studying the daily habits of successful people. So let's begin.

What is it that financially successful people do every day that sets them apart from everyone else in America?

Wealthy people have good daily habits: 1. Career Related Habits. 2. Health Related Habits. 3. Relationship Building Habits. 4. Family Building Habits. 5. Constant Self Improvement Habits. 6. When Wallace D. Wattles release his book ‘the Science of Getting Rich’ in 1910, little did he know the impact it would have on many persons lives almost one hundred years later. According to Wattles (and I totally agree with him) there is a science of getting rich and in order to be rich every man must adhere to its principles.

Now what is the science, what are the principles of getting rich? The major principle, I believe, is a natural law which states that ‘like causes always produces like effects’. Therefore the people in this world who are rich, become and remain rich because they are doing things in a particular way whether consciously or unconsciously. Those who are not doing things in this particular way, will remain poor no matter how hard or how long they work or how capable they are. This principle eliminates the excuse that the environment is why many are not rich. You see too many persons from poor backgrounds are rich or are becoming rich for this excuse to be true. It also eliminates the idea that doing things a particular way is only for persons with talent. No, no, no this can’t be it for there are many, many persons who possess great talent who continue to be poor, whilst others with little or no talent are getting rich every day. Let me repeat getting rich is the result of doing things a particular way. So if you are a plumber and other plumbers in your area are getting rich from plumbing while you are not then it will be because you are not doing things in the same way that the other plumbers are doing them.

The next principle is one that has over the last year or so, and still is, been getting a lot of attention. It is called The law of attraction and it has been made famous by Rhonda Byrnes' book and DVD ‘The Secret’ which was featured on CNN and Oprah among other media programs. This principle states ‘Thoughts Become Things’. You see our world and everything in it first began with a thought. The thoughts that we think are emitted vibrations broadcasted into the universe, attracting to them vibrations of the same frequency which manifest what we come to see and experience in our physical world as our current reality. Man cannot shape a thing until he has first, thought that thing.

So if a person has the thought of a kitchen of a certain design and this thought is in line with the same frequency in the universe, it may not cause the kitchen to just instantly appear, but it would set in motion events and creative processes that will bring about the building of the kitchen to the specific design. For this reason it is important for us to communicate our thoughts to the universe if we are to cause the creation, or formation of the thing we think about.

The third principle is ‘The Law of Gratitude’ which is nothing more than giving thanks to God for his gifts. The more grateful we are as we focus our mind on God when good things come our way the more good things we will receive and the more quickly they will come. Gratitude draws our mind into closer link with God and His blessing. Many are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude. If you consistently and truthfully express your gratitude and it is strong enough then God’s reaction will also be consistent, strong and continuous. The things you want always be moving toward you. When you live your life with gratitude you will find yourself focused on only the best and in turn this will bring to you only the best. Waste no time thinking or talking about the faults and flaws of others or even in you. Work instead on cultivating the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you and give God thanks.

The fourth principle is that of Visualization of your desire and its attainment. You cannot transmit an idea unless you have it yourself. Visualization is about forming and holding a clear and definite mental picture of what it is you want. If it is you desire a brand new car, then it’s not good enough to visualize any old car. You must be more specific, in fact be as specific as possible. So instead you must see in your minds eye the car you want, the make and model, how it feels on the road, the colour, size of the wheel, its features, and even how you will feel driving it.

You must see the thing you want as they already exists, take possession of it in faith believing it is already yours and do not waiver for a moment in the faith that it is real.

The fifth principle is Personal Action. This arguably the second most important principle in the Science of Getting Rich for without action all your thoughts will mean and attain nothing. You must take definite action now. Your personal action, however, must be of such that you can rightly receive what you want when it comes. It makes no sense to desire something and not take some action towards its attainment, this will only lead to frustration leaving you feeling discouraged. There is a quote which says “He who desires but acts not breeds pestilence”. The way you think brings things to you but your by actions you receive them. You must act in a particular way such that you can appropriate what is yours when it comes to you. It does not matter what your situation is, whether it be favourable or not, you must not delay taking action. Wait not for favourable conditions. When you take personal action, do so with no thought of yesterday or tomorrow as your present action will be divided in your mind making you ineffective. So put your whole mind and body into the present action. Take action where you are now.

The last principle is that of Getting in the Right Business. You will do best in that business for which your abilities are best suited. That means it will be easier to succeed if you are in a business for which you are well equipped with the skills and mental tools. Bear in mind, however, that you can get rich in any business even if you do not possess the necessary talents because you can develop the skills needed as you go along. Also you can get rich most satisfactorily if you do that which you want to do. Doing what you want to do is at the core of what life is about. Now if you are in a business or situation that you do not want to be in but you have ‘no choice’ due to some obligation or responsibility like children to support, then do what you have to do. You can make the doing of it pleasing by knowing (reminding yourself) that it is making it possible for you to get to the doing of what you want to do. By making constructive use of the business you are already in and working in a particular way, you can get into the business you want. Always start from where you are.
